Owner’s Thoughts

Love this car, first got it 4 years ago off a mate just for a work rig. One day I decided to take it off road and boy did it go. Smooth gears and traction like you wouldn’t believe. I went for a 4b recently with some mates and far exceeded a jacked Patrol. Don’t get me wrong I used to be a Patrol man, but the GU just isn’t as good as a Hilux, (let’s get real here men).

Dealer service is pretty average however, it is made up for in it’s actual drive. Turning circle could be better but hey, nothing’s perfect in this day and age. This 09 has just blown me away in most aspects, the comfort, the ride, the steering and the engine. All reliable and the quality is very apparent through these aspects. Honestly I don’t think I’d ever go back to another 4×4 and would highly recommend this rig to anyone, whether it be for a family, work, or hardcore bush bashing ride. Only ever had issues with the beast after a serious session up at Mt.Dissa (Lords Track lads get around it).

Not sure what else to say about this rig of a car, I use it for the kids, the tradies and the boys. Highly recommended.
