Owner’s Thoughts

I bought the Lux for towing the caravan around Australia, doing ‘The Big Lap’. Unfortunately life got in the way so that hasn’t happened just yet. During the trips it has done so far, it performs quiet well and I have no doubt when the time comes it will do the job faultlessly.

I find it rather comfortable to drive, (surprisingly), and I seem to be able to get a lot of kms done before I need a break from the drivers seat.

The engine has adequate power for my needs, it can be rather rattley and fuel consumption is not as good as I expected it to be.

The paint has worn through around the tray which is very disappointing. The alignment and fitment of the doors and panels etc. could be a lot better. The steering wheel is wearing badly also.

It has had a few minor warranty issues, nothing too dramatic, which have been fixed now. The dealer service could be better, they seem to want to put the repairs off until the next service every time I call.

To sum it up, I am happy with the Lux, however the quality control and dealer back-up could improve.
